Stroke Foundation of Bengal is participating in the World Stroke Campaign and World Stroke Day 2022 activities with full vigor as always. Posters and Banners bearing the #Precioustime message and the stroke signs both in the reginal language (Bengali) and English will be displayed in various Governemnet Medical Colleges and teaching hospitals so that the message goes across to the community. Poster with the iconic clock tower at Asia’s oldest medical college, Calcutta Medical College as the backdrop have been created to stress the importance of time to save the brain These posters have been shared on facebook, twitter, Whatsapp and other social media network. All India Radio (National Radio) will broadcast a special program on WSD theme featuring Dr.A. Shobhana, Secretary, SFB, in their health program on the 29th October morning. On 29th October evening an awareness program about stroke and #savePrecioustime has been organized by SFB at IMA House, Salt Lake City, Kolkata in association with Indian Medical Association, Salt Lake branch. Invited dignitaries include Principals of two Government Medical Colleges of West Bengal, India.
