Tackling the world's leading cause of disability and second leading cause of death is a big challenge that needs everyone's support. The World Stroke Organization has established a number of strategic partnerships with organizations who share some of our challenges. By working in these partnerships we aim to accelerate the rate of progress on stroke globally.
WSO is a partner in the NCD Alliance. Through the Alliance we work with other members to identify and advocate on areas of shared concern, including prevention policy, access to treatment and support for people living with non-communicable diseases, including stroke.
WSO is a founding member of the Global Coalition for Circulatory Health. Through this coalition we work to raise awareness of key drivers for stroke and advocate for action at international level.
