World Stroke Campaign, Peru 2021: • Activities will take place during October 2021, with a special celebration the night before World Stroke Day. The three-stroke leading organizations in Peru, Peruvian Society of Neurology (Sociedad Peruana de Neurología), Peru Stroke Group (Grupo Stroke del Perú), and The National Institute of Neurological Sciences (Instituto Nacional de Ciencias Neurológicas), will join to organize a virtual Stroke Campaign across the country. The main activities will include a Tiktok campaign through social networks that includes messages about stroke prevention, early symptoms identification, and the need to act as quickly as possible. We will invite healthcare workers and influences from all over the country to lead this campaign showing the messages. • Posting messages on Facebook and other social networks. • We will release news for print, broadcast, and online news media. • We will participate in interviews in media such as radio, TV, and newspapers spreading messages about stroke prevention, early identification of symptoms, and the need to act as quickly as possible. • We will organize virtual stroke webinars nationwide for professionals that have to do with the stroke chain care. • We will organize virtual stroke meetings with the community to show the stroke messages. • The World Stroke Day Celebration will be done the night before World Stroke Day, with the participation of the three organizing organizations. This session will include conferences about Stroke Registries, Stroke Certification Centers, and a summary of the Peruvian World Stroke campaign with the virtual presence of national and international stroke leaders. • The World Stroke Day Celebration will be done the night before World Stroke Day, with the participation of the three organizing organizations.
