Weather the storm is the online screening of an opera that tells the drama of recovery from stroke through the eyes of three stroke survivors and one carer. Written over four years in partnership with over 100 people living with the effects of a stroke, the opera was performed by a stroke community company of 20 with support from a choir of 10 staff from a stroke ward, and the adult community company from Garsington Opera. The performance was rehearsed during the pandemic and took place at Garsington Opera with support from 4 professional soloists and a small band of 5 musicians. This is the world premiere of the recording of that event.
