Join us in commemorating World Stroke Day with a series of engaging and educational activities aimed at increasing awareness about stroke, its prevention, and rehabilitation. Our theme for this year's celebration is "Together We Are Greater Than Stroke." Stroke Knowledge Quiz for the Lay Public: Are you curious about stroke and its impact? Test your knowledge by participating in our Stroke Knowledge Quiz, designed to educate the general public about stroke risk factors, symptoms, and prevention strategies. This quiz is an opportunity to learn and become better equipped to recognize and respond to stroke-related emergencies. Stroke Awareness Through Film: Reel Making Competition for Physiotherapy Students: We are organizing a creative competition for physiotherapy students. Participants will have the chance to showcase their filmmaking skills by producing short films in their vernacular language. These films will be based on the resource toolkit provided by the World Stroke Organization. Through the power of social media, these students will convey crucial stroke-related information to a wider audience, emphasizing the importance of early intervention and rehabilitation. Key Messages from Stroke Experts: Distinguished stroke experts will grace the occasion, sharing their knowledge and insights with the public. Their expertise will focus on essential messages about stroke prevention, early detection, and the significance of post-stroke rehabilitation. Their words will provide a deeper understanding of the challenges posed by stroke and the advancements in stroke care and recovery.
