This year we are converging at the Kenyatta National Hospital, the largest hospital in the region, to celebrate this day as we raise awareness on stroke, build a community of stroke survivors, and strengthen our core reason for existence as we collaborate with diverse health professionals. 1. 5KM Walk of Hope A symbolic journey from Kenyatta National Hospital to Social Health Authority offices via Hospital Road and back, walking for loved ones, survivors, and yourself. 2. NCD and KNH Support Zone • Meet County NCD officers and KNH qualified professionals and learn how to plug into stroke support programs right. • Get personal navigation tips for accessing treatment, rehabilitation, and community support. 3. POST-Stroke Clinic • Exclusive one-on-one sessions with Kenya’s top stroke therapists, nurses, physiotherapists, pharmacists, and neuroscientists. • Learn personalized wellness techniques for post-stroke life, stress management, and lifestyle recovery. 4. Community Building Join Stroke Champions Networks in your county or area - for peer support, information sharing, and friendship.
