Neurosciences department - including Dr Leena, Dr Raez & our stroke surgeon Dr Irwin P.T along with community medicine team organised by Prof Suba joice we had started our Lamp ligting for stroke awareness one week camp the whole week, our 3rd yr.mbbs students have organised a stroke awareness skit for the patients infront of the main OPD and also a recorded youtube awareness program was published in our medical college media series. We have initiating NIHS training programs for our staff nurses .we also organised a stroke awareness CME for the Association of foreign medical graduates installation meeting on Novemember 18th 2023 - Our medicine associate professor dr shibu had given a talk on stroke awareness and Dr Irwin our stroke - neurosurgeon gave an elloborate talk on mechanical thrombectomy and surgical management in stroke - the meeting participants were mainly post mBBS doctors, drs practising at primary health care centers , medical officers forgeign medical graduate students awaiting FMGE exam / internship
