Stroke Action Nigeria will inaugurate a national stoke champions program in collaboration with the federal ministry of health and Anambra state ministry of health. The stroke champions are chosen from the school eg, primary schools,secondary schools and universities and will be trained to h3elp reduce the burden of strokes in Nigeria Their mandate: (1) Stoke action awareness (2) Spot strokes (stroke symptom recognition) (3) Park walk and run against strokes (to promote physical activity) (4) #ACTFAST, Every Minute Counts (5) Life After Stroke
