HRC Stroke Community Awareness Initiative (C.A.I) at PPR Taman Mulia

The Neurological Rehabilitation Unit, Hospital Rehabilitasi Cheras (HRC), Kuala Lumpur spearheaded a series of stroke Community Awareness Initiative (C.A.I) to raise awareness of stroke with special focus on early signs and stroke risks identification. The HRC’s stroke Community Awareness Initiative (C.A.I) are organized within 4km of the hospital’s vicinity; in sync with the 1 in 4 probability of having a stroke in a lifetime. The first C.A.I session on 15 October 2022 kicks off with a stroke awareness campaign at a high-density residential area of PPR Taman Mulia, Cheras. Main activities include health screening and stroke risk identification with Stroke Riskometer. Highlight of the day include an outdoor FAST Heroes session with the neighbourhood children, who participated actively and took part in Hemi-Challenge and many other interesting activities.
