Bhutan stroke foundation

This year Bhutan stroke foundation is coordinating the world stroke day celebration with the theme together we can be greater than challenge with the technical support from ministry of health and Jigme Dorji Wangchuck national hospital. Another interesting about this year's Day is participation of more than 500 Early learning chicken age between 2-5 year from 21 ECCD under the Bhutan Early Child care and development Association members. Our children will showcase dance and plays on stroke prevention and also carry out stroke risk assessment to the general public. Heath official will give public talk and also stroke survivor will be sharing their lived experience. Minister of health will be the chief guests of the event. Media and other development partners will also take part. The Executive director of Bhutan stroke foundation and official from ministry of health will be on national tv program to highlight and give talk about stroke to the general public. Such program will also happened in other hospitals and some school in the country.
