Awareness Day

On World Stroke Day, 29 October at the Regional Hospital foyer, stroke nurses from the Neurology Center shared how to prevent stroke, recognize its symptoms, and understand risk factors. Visitors could have their blood pressure measured and learn how to correctly check and monitor their pulse. Representatives from the Estonian Stroke Patients Society were also present to introduce their work, activities, share patient experiences, and provide consultations. The event encouraged attendees to listen, ask questions, and take care of their health.
