October 29, 2023 is the 18th "World Stroke Day". This year's theme and slogan is "Stroke: Prevention". In order to promote the spirit of volunteer service, further enhance public awareness of stroke risks, and draw attention to early screening and prevention of cerebrovascular diseases. On the morning of October 26, the Stroke Center of our hospital and the Xiaoxi Town Health Center of Guang'an District launched a free clinic event on "World Stroke Day". The event promoted stroke prevention knowledge through explanations, exhibition stands and video popularization, and distributed a stroke popularization education manual to explain to residents how to identify stroke, stroke prevention and treatment, and how to lead a reasonable lifestyle for primary prevention of stroke. Since the elderly are most susceptible to stroke, the medical staff were particularly attentive during the explanation process, asking everyone in detail about their living and eating habits, patiently explaining the knowledge about stroke risks, and improving everyone's awareness of the risks of stroke disease.

2023年10月29日是第18个“世界卒中日”，今年的宣传主题和口号是“卒中：重在预防”。为弘扬志愿服务精神，进一步提高公众对卒中风险的认识，引起大家对脑血管疾病的早期筛查和预防的重视。10月26日上午，我院卒中中心联合广安区肖溪镇卫生院开展了“世界卒中日”义诊活动。活动通过讲解、展架和视频科普等方式进行预防卒中知识的宣传，并派发了卒中科普宣教手册，为居民讲解如何识别卒中、卒中的预防及治疗，如何合理生活方式进行卒中一级预防。由于卒中多发人群为老年人，医务人员在讲解过程中格外细心，详细地询问大家的生活、饮食习惯等，耐心讲解卒中风险知识，提高大家对卒中疾病的风险认识。
