Late-Breaking Abstract submission for the 18th World Stroke Congress (WSC), to be held October 21–23, 2026, in Seoul, Republic of Korea is open.
If your clinical trial has uncovered new, scientifically significant findings that could shape the future of stroke prevention, treatment, or rehabilitation — now is your chance to submit your abstract.
Late-Breaking Clinical Trial Submission Deadline: May 25, 2026, 23:59 CEST
Late-breaking submissions are specifically for clinical trials, ongoing clinical trials, and large international registries containing novel data not previously presented at stroke conferences. The results of your trial should have the potential to make a meaningful impact on clinical practice or significantly advance stroke research.
A few important things to know before you submit:
Late-breaking abstracts must present new, scientifically rigorous data not previously presented at a stroke congress
This category is reserved for clinical trials and large international registries reporting novel findings — abstracts that could have been submitted during the regular submission period will not be considered
Submitted abstracts cannot be modified — however, you will have the opportunity to present updated or new findings in Seoul
Take a look at the submission guidelines for more details on how you can make an impactful contribution to the WSC 2026 program.
