Call for voting for WSO Board of Directors elections 2026

The World Stroke Organization has officially launched its 2026 Board of Directors elections, inviting all eligible members to take part in shaping the organization’s leadership. Voting will be open from 15 April to 6 May 2026.

Each eligible member will receive a personalized voting link via email, sent from invite@lamapoll.de. This secure link provides direct access to the online voting system. Members are advised to check their spam or junk folders if the email does not appear in their primary inbox.

The elections will fill positions across multiple regions and constituencies, reflecting WSO’s global representation:

Africa/Middle East – 3 positions
Asia/Oceania – 7 positions
Europe – 4 positions
Americas – 4 positions
Stroke Organizations (SO) – 4 positions
Scientific Societies (SSOs) – 3 positions

Voting eligibility is limited to WSO members who have paid their 2026 membership dues.

To ensure a fair and transparent process, each member is permitted to vote only once. Proxy voting and any form of campaigning are strictly prohibited, and violations may result in disqualification from the election.

Participation in the election is a vital opportunity for members to contribute to the future direction and governance of the World Stroke Organization.
