We know our global stroke community is full of individuals whose lives have been changed by stroke, but who have gone on to use their experience as the fuel to drive change for others.W e're calling on our members, partners and stroke stakeholders to help us put those people in the spotlight, to celebrate their impact and share their stories. We're calling for nominations and self-nominations now and you can help by
- Nominating a stroke survivor or caregiver that you know has made an impact in their community, country or beyond.
- Don't be modest or shy- we are open to so self-nominations! If you are out there using your experience as a survivor or caregiver to improve visibility, understanding and action on stroke we want to hear all about it.
- Spreading the word on your social media channels, email and whatsapp networks - we've created some resources that you can use to encourage nominations.
More information on critieria and nomination can be found on the World Stroke Campaign website .
Every nominee will feature on the website and recieve a WSO 20 Voices certificate of appreciation, 20 individiuals (four from five stroke regions) will be selected as regional voices and featured in World Stroke Campaign communication activities in October.
