Introduction in Stroke Emergency Medicine and thrombolysis training

The aim of this course are:
- To introduce stroke care pathway into integrated service in the region of Erbil/Iraq.
- To train specialist/trainee and physician working in Emergency care/ acute medical and stroke care into various score used in acute stroke setting include NIHSS, ASPECT etc.
- To conduct a practical and OSCES type of training during our course/workshop.
Main Topics:
- Introduction in Stroke pathway.
- Stroke Emergency Criteria and pathway.
- Training on NIHSS score and dose calculation.
- Introduction for mechanical thrombectomy indications.
- Practice session / OSCEs of stroke thrombolysis.
