Description: Stroke remains one of the most devastating complications of sickle cell disease (SCD), with significant impacts on patients, families, and healthcare systems worldwide. This webinar will explore the lived experiences of children and families affected by SCD-related stroke, current advances in diagnostic and therapeutic approaches, and the opportunities and challenges of implementing evidence-based interventions across diverse healthcare settings. Participants will gain insights into emerging screening technologies, novel treatments, family and community empowerment strategies, and practical approaches to bridging gaps in access to comprehensive stroke care.
