The Global Coalition for Circulatory Health is an advocacy initiative born from the WHO Global Conference on Noncommunicable Diseases in 2017, and it brings together members interested in circulatory health to combat heart disease and stroke on an international stage. The purpose of the Coalition is to drive urgent action for circulatory health.
The position paper prepared by the Global Coalition of Circulatory Health highlights global commitments to achieving UHC. It emphasizes the need to determine effective essential health services, considering disease burdens, financial protection, and societal impact.

Watch the webinarsIn 2018, WSO and other partners in the Global Coalition for Circulatory Health launched a key White Paper – Delivering Sustainable Action for Circulatory Health. The document provides an overview of the global burden of CVD and stroke and identifies interventions and investments that governments can take to reduce personal and social costs of CVD and stroke.
The members of the Coalition have also organized several side events in conjunction to the WHA in Geneva and the UNGA in New York.
