The Research Committee is charged with identifying the research actions that will support the mission of the WSO to reduce the global burden of stroke.
We work to support research activities, education and training that serve to meet these goals. Our committee is diverse in geography, gender and has members with a mix of research skills, experience and interests. We evaluate and will endorse research activity that supports the WSO mission.
The third Early Career Investigators Virtual Training Workshop was held this year 3rd and 4th of December. This workshop is the culmination of a collaboration between the European Stroke Organization, GAINS, and the World Stroke Organisation. Our goal is to connect early career investigators in stroke with each other, and with experienced mentors from across the globe.
