Words from the President, March 2022

The WSO supports our colleagues in Ukraine and we are providing them free WSO membership and access to the virtual component of the World Stroke Congress this year. We have joined with other organizations and issued a statement of support. We all hope that the conflict will end soon and that reconstruction of the country can begin. The WSO will remain committed to enhancing health care in general and stroke care specifically in Ukraine over the coming months and years. We will need to initiate specific projects to do so and I encourage our members to become involved in this effort and to help raise the funds that will be necessary.
