21 Jun 2023A GLOBAL COALITION FOR CIRCULATORY HEALTH POSITION PAPER
The global burden of circulatory disorders, such as stroke and heart disease, is increasing worldwide, affecting both low- to middle-income countries and high-income countries. The Global Coalition for Circulatory Health launched a position paper emphasizing the need to prioritize circulatory health services within Universal Health Coverage plans. The paper highlights challenges, evidence-based interventions, and the benefits of expanding coverage at the primary care level. It calls for action by governments and the global UHC movement to address this pressing issue.
