The 17th World Stroke Congress (WSC 2025), held in Barcelona, concluded with remarkable success, marking a significant milestone for the global stroke community. As the first fully in-person edition in several years, the Congress brought renewed energy and connection to attendees from around the world.
The event drew a record on-site attendance of more than 2,700 participants and received a record 1,618 abstract submissions, underscoring the expanding reach and impact of stroke research and collaboration worldwide.
Participants from across the globe gathered to share cutting-edge research, exchange best practices, and strengthen partnerships aimed at improving stroke prevention, treatment, and recovery.
