Congratulations to Prof. Michael Brainin
Professor Michael Brainin, immediate Past President of the WSO and Co-Chair of the WSO Global Policy Committee has received one of the most prestigious awards in Austria, the Honorary Cross. He received this award for his outstanding lifetime achievement in setting up stroke units across Austria, for the co-founding of the Austrian Stroke Registry, for years of training of Austrian and international clinicians in acute stroke care and for setting up the international stroke training programme at Danube University Krems. Please join us in congratulating Michael for this well-deserved and highly prestigious award.
