Submit your World Stroke Campaign Award Application by December 19th and you could win global recognition - and more!

World Stroke Campaign Awards recognize key achievements in raising awareness of stroke with a strong focus on creativity and commitment to the dissemination of World Stroke Day campaign themes and messages. In addition to highlighting your role as a leader in local or national pubilc awareness, Campaign Award Winners often go on to become global exemplars of good practice and innovation in stroke awareness campaigning, contributing to WSO case studies, webinars and consultations. Many winners tell us that a WSO Campaign Award has added to their credibility, supporting their advocacy work and helping with partnership and resource moblization for their stroke awareness activities.

Campaign Awards can be submitted in one of three categories:

Best Campaign in a High Income Country
Best Campaign in a Low and Middle Income Country
Individual Achievement Award

If you ran a World Stroke Day Campaign in 2026 and would like your work to be considered for an award, the criteria and entry forms, along with examples of winning campaigns can be found on the World Stroke Campaign website. Following review and judging by the World Stroke Organization Campaign Committee, winners and runners-up will be announced early in 2026.

Each category winner will:

Receive either a free Annual Membership of WSO (including Society Membership for winners in Low and Middle Income countries),
OR
One free individual registration for World Stroke Congress 2026.
