The link between circulatory diseases and COVID-19 has become increasingly evident with the growing number of patients who have been diagnosed and treated worldwide. WSO has been continuously monitoring the impact of the COVID 19 pandemic on patients and professionals around the world. Emerging issues, practice changes, research findings and expert recommendations from across the stroke care continuum are being shared and discussed through a well-attended program of interactive webinars.
As key partners in the Global Coalition for Circulatory Health, we have provided active support and contribution to the Circulatory Health and COVID 19: Global Coalition webinar series. These webinars provide comprehensive and global perspectives on the links between circulatory disease, and outcomes with recommendations on how to address key issues through action on prevention, acute treatment and post-stroke care.
