The World Stroke Congress 2024 marked a special milestone for the participants of Cohort 2 of the Future Stroke Leaders Programme (FSLP).
During the Congress, Future Leaders proudly presented the tangible outcomes of their funded projects, participated as speakers and moderators, and showcased their remarkable contributions to stroke care and research.
We are incredibly proud to witness the further development of the World Stroke Organization’s (WSO) stroke community as Future Leaders came together to take collective action and generate concrete solutions to common stroke challenges.
As part of the program, the group held a final workshop at the Cleveland Clinic in Abu Dhabi, which kindly hosted this international cohort and provided a tour of its world-class facilities. Throughout the program, participants delved into a wide range of critical topics, including international leadership, funded projects, article reviews, neuroscience of leadership, and stroke debates.
