Please note: The programme will cover all costs except travel. Also included is one free registration for WSC. Successful applicants are expected to fund their own travel to WSC and to the in-person workshops; however, those from LMICs will be reimbursed 50% for their travel expenses.

Programme Requirements
- Early career stroke professional under the age of 40 able to commit time for the programme
- Evidence of leadership capacity
- Demonstrable and significant academic or professional interest in one of the key areas
- Proficient in English with reliable internet access
- Evidence of support from their local employer/institution to provide time and resources
- Support from an appropriate mentor
What is the Future Leaders Programme?
Future Stroke Leaders is an initiative of the WSO to develop the technical and research skills of the next generation of stroke professionals. It is a tailored 2-year program to equip a global cohort of early career clinicians and researchers with in-depth understanding of the key challenges in relation to stroke and how these challenges can be addressed within diverse stroke care systems
