The WSO is calling for new Co-Chairs for the Guidelines Committee. The new Co-Chairs will take office later this year. The Committee has the task to review existing regional guidelines and best practice recommendations and to evaluate them for their usability in a wider, global setting. The need for evidence-based practice recommendations is especially important for low and middle-income countries and this has to be implemented on a practical level in accordance with local needs and organisations. Other issues include the development of global recommendations of stroke care. The WSO is keen to support work that includes also the implementation and evaluation of guideline based strategies of stroke care.
WSO expects to receive applications from ambitious and innovative colleagues from all over the world and gives special support to younger and female applicants.
If you are interested, please send your letter of interest by August 21 to email@example.com.
Achieving our vision of a life free from stroke is a task that WSO cannot achieve alone. We are committed to building our partnerships at the global, regional and national level to scale up and deliver improvements in prevention, treatment and support to reduce the burden of stroke.
