SCHOLARSHIPS FOR YOUNG PHYSICIANS

Young physicians aged 35 or less on September 1, 2008 may apply to receive a scholarship consisting of Registration Fees for the congress and 3 nights accommodation (sharing with another scholarship recipient) in a 3 star hotel.
Applicants must have an abstract accepted by the scientific committee and be a resident of a country as per the list published on congress website http://www.kenes.com/stroke2008/young_physicians.asp.

Applicants should be good standing (i.e. paid up) members of WSO.
If you are not yet a WSO member you can apply for membership online at http://www.world-stroke.org/wso_members.asp.
Applicants must have paid up the membership fees by deadline of March 25, 2008 if they wish to be considered for this award.

Applicants receiving accommodation and registration support from any other source will not be eligible.
Please apply while submitting your abstract online (http://www.kenes.com/stroke2008/call.asp). A scanned copy of your passport showing your date of birth must be sent by E-mail to stroke2008@kenes.com

Important note:
Your request will only be considered if submitted at the time of abstract submission. Deadline for submission of abstracts is March 25, 2008.

Scholarship recipients will be selected on the basis of abstract evaluation by the Congress Program Committee.

Applicants who have been granted a scholarship will be informed well before elapse of the early registration fee deadline.
