ABC of Stroke: Cardinal Principles of stroke management
An education initiative from the World Stroke Organization
The program on ABC of Stroke, started in Cape Town during the Joint World Stroke Congress in 2006, conducted in China in 2007-2008 and in Vietnam in 2008 is the largest professional stroke campaign ever held.

The Cheng-du symposium had a tremendous success with over 1.000 participants from all over China. Lectures in English as well as in Chinese are now available on a CD.
CDs will be distributed among 300 hospitals in China as a part of a program to improve the hospital management and thus help reduce the burden of stroke in China.

Vietnam - 2008
The training program initiated by WSO, will be carried on by a Faculty under the leadership of the chairman of the Neurological Society of Vietnam.
6000 doctors will be exposed, either directly or indirectly, to the educational program.
It is jointly supported by the Ministry of Health and co-funded by the Ebewe Pharma.
